World Trade Towers
by Liz Southwood
Just last week
bodies erupted from
blown-out windows,
grabbed by a tornado
of hate, powered by festering,
smirking death.
Planes sliced into buildings
pulling silk flame like a magician,
and rotten black, scimitars
of death, beheading
the zen-clean buildings,
delivering them of tons of metal
and death.
