The Art of Nitpicing
I’ll never be an editor
For the knack is not my forte’
Of finding in poetic lore,
Errors, to my constant dismay,
As I peer, hunt, and check for quar-
ry: extra words, or missing “A”.
I scan it closely, read it more,
Then I email it on its way.
I’m feeling like a troubadour
Until I see the missing “K”.
